I grew up watching movies every Saturday with my family. It had been a weekly tradition that we kept until everyone left the house to start new traditions with their own families. Those weekly movie watching began my long love affair with movies. I picked no particular genre, I loved suspense, romantic comedies, cartoons, drama and I simply adored the classics. I have amassed a great number of movies from all over the years.

Although eating up dust in my cabinets, I could not make myself part ways with the VHS tapes I have hidden in boxes. VHS tapes have definitely become obsolete and majority of the movies I collect now are on DVDs.

Time passes so quickly. Soon enough, even DVDs will become obsolete and be replaced by digital files. Digital movie reproduction has easily conquered the internet and nowadays it is very easy to watch movies online via high speed streaming or downloading. I, for one, spend hours online trying to find new movies and such conveniences has definitely saved me so much money and effort.

I no longer have to go to cinema to watch every movie that has been released. I do not have to wait for movies to go on DVD for me to be able to see them in the comfort of my home.
